Gaurav Sharma born in 1983 is the young budding mountaineer, belongs to Churu, the Shekhawati region of Rajasthan An alumnus of Nehru Institute of Mountaineering , Uttarkashi , is well known mountaineer and qualified instructor of various adventure sports. He has many mountaineering expeditions to his credit including Kamet, Kedardome, Stok Kangri and DKD2. He started his adventure sports career in year 2000, when he was only 18 years old. By reaching on World’s Highest Motorable Road “Khardungla Pass” on a without gear simple bicycle. After that every year he has been doing expeditions continuously with a dream to summit World’s Highest Mountain Mt. Everest. Now he is working as President, Youth Adventure Sports Institute, Churu [Rajasthan] in the field of adventure to inspire the youth for the development of adventure and character building.
