About Gaurav Sharma
Born & brought-up in Churu, A small Town & A gateway to Thar Desert in Rajasthan. He is an alumnus of Nehru Institute of Mountaineering , Uttarkashi & Directorate of Mountaineering and Allied Sports , Manali, and is well known mountaineer and qualified instructor of various adventure sports. He has many successful mountaineering expeditions to his credit including Mount Kamet, Kedardome, Stok Kangri and DKD2. After his Schooling he was filled with passionate curiosity about the world of Adventure. He went for Expeditions in year 2000, when he was only 18 years old by reaching on World’s Highest Motorable Road “Khardungla Pass” on a non gear bicycle. After that every year he has been doing expeditions continuously with a dream to summit World’s Highest Mountain Mt. Everest. Now he is working as President & Instructor of Youth Adventure Sports Institute, Churu [Rajasthan] in the field of adventure to inspire the youth & adolescent for the development of adventure and character building.
